Imbert Clarifies His Remarks About BPTT President

Finance Minister Colm Imbert tells TV6 News his comment in the Parliament about the credentials of BPTT Regional President Claire Fitzpatrick " merely meant to convey" that she, "like any person without discipline-specific expertise, will need to rely on expert technical advice to arrive at an informed decision." For her part, Ms Fitzpatrick says "in all businesses and indeed in all organizations there are many areas of expertise" that are required as she gave further details of BPTT's recent disappointing drilling results. NCIC Heritage Month 2019

‘Aagaman - The Coming’ - is an art exhibition which is the most recent work of local artist, Shastri Maharaj. The exhibition is in commemoration of the National Council for Indian Culture's (NCIC) celebration of Heritage Month 2019. The event, which is free to the public, started on May 4th and continues to June 2nd. The exhibition is taking place at the National Council for Indian Culture - Heritage Centre, Divali Nagar Site, Chaguanas.  Fatima Young Leaders

Fatima College Young Leaders are hosting a year -long project entitled: 'Fatima College RBC/We Young Leaders'. The aim of the project is to bring greater awareness surrounding issues of Mental Illness as part of their 2019 young leader's project. Their theme is ‘Mental Health Awareness’. This 'cause' is in an effort to end the stigmas attached to mental health issues.
