Opposition On FOIA

The conversations on the Freedom of Information Act continues within various arms. Today we will hear the Opposition's views on the Act's proposed changes. On set to put it into context is Sean Sobers -Temporary Opposition Senator.


The Lung Cancer /Thoracic Malignancy Unit of the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) held its ‘World No Tobacco Day’ National Primary School Poster Competition on May 31st at the Colposcopy Suite, Mt. Hope. The competition was in collaboration with the Education Unit and required students between the ages of  9 - 12 years, to research the harmful effects of cigarette smoking on the human body and display the information in an art form by designing a peer-friendly poster. On set are First Place Winner - Ekene Eze, Second Place Winner - Nicolai Abdool and Third place Winner - Suvan Subance.

TTPS Association Elections

The TTPS Association Election is set to take place on June 24th. Last week we had another team in studio.  Well today, we are joined by members of the Police Empowerment Party (PEP) to give us more information on their plans as they vie for various positions. On set are Acting Inspector - Sean Clarke  and Corporal Nigel Williams.

San Juan Jabloteh recently qualified for 2019 Scotia Bank CONCACAF Under 13 Champions League to be held in Costa Rica. This will be the third time the club will be representing Trinidad and Tobago. The Venezuelan Migrant Registration Process came to an end in Tobago this weekend. Following the two-week exercise, registration continued from approximately 8:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Port Mall in Scarborough,
