A 9 am media conference has been scheduled for today to deal specifically with the new ferry. As a result, he plans to implement an effective emergency call-in service and online reporting system which will send officers to the citizen instead of having people go into stations themselves.

Launch Of Coast Guard Boats In Tobago

Two refurbished interceptors are now part of the National Security apparatus in Tobago.

National Security Minister Stuart Young was in Charlotteville this morning to launch the vessels that will patrol the island's coastline. The vessels, along with another twelve, have come at a total cost of seven million dollars. Minister Young said, this was part of the PNM's election promise, delivered to the people.
