North Coast Landslide update

The Met Service has issued an Adverse Weather Alert #1 Yellow Level for today due to the passage of a tropical wave. Yesterday, heavy rains resulted in a landslip on the North Coast Road forcing a temporary closure.The Ministry of Works and Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture is expected to conduct a tree-trimming exercise on the North Coast Road, today from 9.00 a.m till 2.00 p.m.
