In Tobago, observances took the form of a walk from the ANR Robinson International Airport, to Castara, where former Prime Minister and President Arthur N.R Robinson grew up.

TV6 caught up with member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Reserves, David Nelson, as he walked from the airport, along Canaan and along Lowlands to Castara.

Mr. Nelson is calling on the authorities to properly recognise July 27th, 1990.
