The Firearms Amendment Bill was passed by the House of Representatives on Monday night.

But it was a claim by UNC MP Rodney Charles that the bill was targeting youth of African descent that raised the ire of government members, including Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, who declared that race is not a factor in the passage of laws or how the judicial system operates in this country.
