Now to an update, on a story we reported on last evening and it's good news!
You may remember the plight of 54-year old Susan Stewart-Belanger.
She's an eye patient at the Port of Spain General Hospital.
And, she been refused surgery because the hospital was owing Caribbean Eye Institute for her first operation, in 2017.
She said, she did not have the $15,000 needed to do a second surgery, to remove silicone oil placed in her eye.
The North West Regional Health Authority says, after learning about the case, a meeting was held with Caribbean Eye Institute.
And, the issue between both parties has been resolved and Belanger has been scheduled for eye surgery, early next week.
