A Barrackpore farmer is pleading for help from the authorities after flash flooding killed hundreds of chickens on his farm, leaving him without a job.

The 39 year-old father of four says it is especially difficult since he was out of work throughout the COVID lockdown, and he never received the salary relief grant.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh visited the farm today and has this story.
