Anselm Gibbs

Anselm Gibbs joined the TV6 News team in June 2009.

He started off as a United States-based correspondent covering stories ranging from the death of Michael Jackson, to mas on the road at Miami's carnival. Since moving back home to Trinidad and Tobago in 2011, Anselm has been in the field reporting on various local stories.

Being the name and face of the "Ask Anselm" news segment has allowed him to help a number of viewers with getting their voices heard and their problems solved.

Anselm is also a Caribbean-based contributor for ABC News.

He has worked in the New York City news market as a journalist with NY1 News, CBS New York's 1010 WINS and WFAN covering everything from U.S. presidential elections to the Super Bowl.

Anselm has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in sport management, both from St. John's University in New York.

He loves football (St. Anthony's College Tigers for life!), lasagna, and DJing, yes DJing.
