PM AND MCDONALD ON SOLDIER POLICEA battle of two legal minds in Parliament today, as the Prime Minister and the Opposition Chief Whip both made their cases for and against the Bill to give the military policing powers.

As the Prime Minister announced specific restrictions on those powers the Chief Whip warned that soldiers operating as police may escape civil liability for their actions.
