'PINK PANTHER' WINS CALYPSO MONARCH

 Fourth time was the charm for calypsonian Eric Taylor, known in the fraternity as the Pink Panther. 

He was crowned Calypso Monarch early this morning, dethroning Duane O'Connor who could only manage sixth place.
Pink Panther emerged as a favourite by the time he ended his first round rendition, a political satire about looking for a particular kind of 'ship'.
