MUSLIMS BEG FOR NO PROTEST ACTION
The Islamic community appears divided over the handling of several muslim men in Venezuela - detained for over a week on suspicion of terrorism.
On the heels of a detainee's appeal from his jail cell for intensified Government intervention, Waajihatul Islaamiyyah -The Islamic Front- says the People's Partnership shows it's acting swiftly and effectively in resolving this matter.
But the Islamic Missionaries Guild has come out in defence of Government's interventions so far.
In the meantime, the families of the three incarcerated imams are pleading with the local Muslim community not to take any action and to allow Government do all it can to secure the men's release
