 The Police chief has turned down an opportunity to explain to TV6 and you the viewers what he is doing to reduce crime - especially murders - and why his crime plans appear to be failing.

At first, acting police commissioner Stephen Williams accepted our invitation to discuss the issues... but told us less than half an hour ago he's busy in the office busy in the office because there are so many murders.

Presumably, among them - two killings today.
