A sigh of relief at least for now for entertainers Machel Montano and Kernel Roberts , as the two are now officially cleared for the remainder of the carnival season. The men appeared before a Port of Spain court this morning for sentencing...arising from their conviction last December on assault and other charges.

However...the magistrate deferred handing down the sentences....adjourning the matter to February 25th.
