HILTON WORKERS CHECK OUT

At the height of the Carnival season, workers at Hilton Trinidad are protesting what they say is the state of salary negotiations for an industrial agreement.

 

After negotiations, which began last June, broke down yesterday, unionised workers hit when it could hurt most on the eve of Carnival.

Head of the Communication Workers Union - Joseph Remy, claims its because no tangible progress was being made.
