ARMY CHIEF ON SOLDIERS AS POLICE

 For the 1st time since legislation was brought to the Parliament to bestow soldiers with police powers, we hear from the Nation's highest ranking military officer on the matter. He says the Defence Force has a role to support law-enforcement but would not give any specifics as to how it will ready itself for a civilian policing role.
