DRUGS AT ARIMA NORTH SECONDARY?
Mounting concern about drugs in schools and the National Parent Teachers Association calls for urgent action to deal with the growing problem.
According to the Association's President- Zena Ramatalli it's a growing problem, especially in schools along the east west corridor and more especially, in government secondary schools. She says, the issue isn't being addressed satisfactorily and calls for better leadership at schools, as well as for a collaborative approach by various interest groups to tackle the problem.
The problem may be exacerbated, as we found out, that some schools give the impression of hiding the problem under the carpet.
