Trinidad and Tobago's (T&T) men's 4 x 400m relay squad set a new national record to qualify for the mile relay final at London 2012.
Men's 400 metres bronze medallist Lalonde Gordon, Jarrin Solomon, Ade Alleyne-Forte and Deon Lendore clocked three minutes, 00.38 seconds to top heat 1 ahead of Great Britain (3:00.38) and Cuba (3:00.55), and secure a berth in the medal race.
