Men's mile relay unit takes bronze

Lalonde Gordon, Jarrin Solomon, Ade Alleyne-Forte and Deon Lendore combined to give Trinidad and Tobago its second medal at London 2012.
The quartet produced a time of two minutes, 59.40 seconds to earn bronze in the men's 4 x 400 metres final, setting a new national record in the process.
The time eclipsed the 3:00.38 mark they established in the qualifying round the previous day.
They also equaled the achievement of Wendell Mottley, Ed Skinner, Kent Bernard and Edwin Roberts, who won 4 x 400m bronze at the 1964 Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Bahamas grabbed gold in 2:56.72, with silver going to the United States in 2:57.05.
