Attorney General Anand Ramlogan says the decision to repeal part of the law is not an admission that the government made a blunder.... but a safeguard to ensure a trial of public interest is allowed to proceed.

 

He denies any specific intent behind the drafting of the law, and says if any resignations should be tendered as the Opposition demands... Dr. Rowley should follow suit.
